DESCRIPTION

Oxidized starch has a carboxyl group attached to it, which gives the desired characteristics for Textile applications; oxidized starch has increased water holding and water absorbing qualities. Which decrease the tendency of penetration or migration in a pigment coating formula.Oxidised starch has improved whiteness and it cooks to thin paste, which is relatively clear at elevated temperature. Oxidized Starch gels show considerably less set back and is less cloudy and more fluid than unmodified parent starch .Moreover being anionic Oxidized starch strong absorbers cationic dyes.
